Product description

Be proactive, not reactive: protect your plants for life with Vole King's non-toxic stainless steel mesh baskets.

It's as easy as 1, 2, 3:

  • Step 1: Take your plant out of its pot.

  • Step 2: Put your plant in a Vole King basket.

  • Step 3: Plant it in the ground, leaving 1-2 inches of the top of the basket above the soil to prevent voles from climbing over.

A vole kills a plant by eating its root ball to get to its crown, the vital area where its underground roots meet its aboveground shoots.

Our baskets protect your plant's root ball and crown; your plant's feeder roots can grow out of its root ball and through the basket, but voles can't chew through it.

Voles might nibble on your plant's feeder roots, but they won't be able to survive off them, so they'll move on in search of sustenance elsewhere.

The North Carolina State University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences found tomato plants protected by Vole King baskets grow 38% more roots and 18% more fruit than tomato plants not protected by our baskets.

Our baskets easily conform to new plants and old transplants, so it's never too late to protect your plants with Vole King!

  • No more feeding the voles.

"My daylilies, tulips, and hostas looked great one day only for them to be gone the next. Since I started planting with these baskets, the voles have not been able to perform their vanishing tricks!"

    — Kenneth (5-star review)

  • Works great.

"My property has an awful gopher problem. I got the 15 gallon baskets for a few fruit tree saplings and they have kept them protected and healthy. Would buy again. 10/10 recommend."

    — Daniel T. (5-star review)

  • 5/5 stars. So far, so good!

"The gophers have yet to kill the 3 citrus trees we planted 6 weeks ago. Those nasty little yard pests are still around because there are hills and mounds of dirt everywhere — except where the trees are!"

    — K. Guthrie (5-star review)
